Artist Statement

 

     My art is how I see the world.  Like human nature, I thrive from sharing my experiences with the world.  As an artist, my goal is to inspire others to see the real beauty in the world.  It's our instinct to want to hold onto things and I like to capture as many amazing moments as possible, and share them with people who may not be able to see them otherwise.
    The main tool I use for my art is Digital Media.  I like to think I can do anything with a Camera and in Photo Shop.   I always make sure to consider composition before taking any photograph.  Nature is my canvas and a camera is my paintbrush.  I love to chase the light, from hiking mountains before the sunrise for captivating morning star shots, to unwinding with the birds watching the sunset.  I revel in being able to share the views I experience.
    I am currently working on building my landscape & digital photography knowledge.  For most of my life I was just a hobbyist Photographer, now I'm dedicating myself to Photography and Digital Imaging as it's one of my dreams that really moves me.  I love nature and am constantly inspired by it's beauty.  I feel the best when I am able to get people to stop and see the serenity in the world.
